PDF to CSV

Export detected PDF tables to CSV using the same table engine as PDF to Excel — with preview and table selection.

PDF to CSV reuses the PDF to Excel table pipeline. Analyze the PDF, preview grids, select tables and pages, then download UTF-8 CSV. There is no second, weaker extractor.

If no tables are found, the tool explains why instead of emitting a junk comma file. Low-confidence extractions still show a preview and a warning. Scanned documents can use OCR when available.

Use PDF to CSV for importing tables into databases, R, or spreadsheets that prefer CSV over XLSX.

Private temporary processing applies.

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers to the questions people ask most.

Standard comma-separated values with RFC-style quoting via PHP fputcsv.
No. Files stay in private temporary storage and are deleted automatically after the retention period (default one hour). Download links are signed and expire.
No. Document conversion reconstructs or renders content as accurately as the source allows. Complex layouts, unusual fonts, and scanned pages can differ from the original. Always preview important work.
