Privacy Policy
This policy explains how AdvanzoTools collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our productivity platform and online tools.
1. Introduction
Welcome to AdvanzoTools (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We operate a technology platform that provides free professional online tools—including calculators, developer utilities, text tools, and related product experiences—at our websites and applications (collectively, the “Service”).
This Privacy Policy describes our practices regarding personal and technical information. By using the Service, you acknowledge this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information — name, email address, password (hashed), profile preferences, and authentication metadata when you create an account or sign in with a third-party provider.
- Usage data — pages and tools viewed, feature interactions, approximate usage counts, referral URLs, and similar product analytics events.
- Device and log data — IP address, browser type, operating system, language, timestamps, and diagnostic logs necessary for security and reliability.
- Content you provide — text, numbers, files, or other inputs you submit while using a tool. Many tools process data in-session; when processing is server-side, intermediate files may be stored temporarily under our security controls.
- Communications — name, email address, subject, and message you submit through our contact form, or emails you send to our public contact address.
- Compliance records — records of acceptance of Terms and this Privacy Policy (for example, timestamps and request metadata) for auditing.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service and individual tools
- Create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and deliver product features
- Personalize experience (for example, theme, locale, or recent tools where offered)
- Monitor performance, diagnose errors, and protect against abuse, fraud, and security threats
- Respond to contact form submissions and other inquiries
- Communicate about account issues, product notices, or—where permitted—optional newsletters
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms
We do not sell your personal information as “sale” is commonly defined under major privacy statutes.
5. Analytics
We may use first-party and third-party analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns (for example, popular tools, traffic volume, and geographic regions at a coarse level). Analytics partners process data under their own privacy policies and security practices. We configure tools with privacy-oriented defaults where available.
6. Advertising
We may display advertising on the Service through Google AdSense and similar partners. These partners may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including ads based on your visits to this site and other sites, subject to your browser and consent settings.
Google’s use of advertising cookies is described in Google’s Advertising Technologies policy. You can manage ad personalization through your Google account ad settings or your browser’s cookie controls. We do not control third-party ad networks’ independent data practices.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate third parties such as cloud hosting providers, email delivery, OAuth identity providers (for example, Google, GitHub, Facebook, LinkedIn), CDN networks, advertising partners (including Google AdSense), and analytics or error-monitoring services. When you authenticate via a social provider, we receive limited profile data permitted by that provider and by your consent settings.
External websites linked from our tools are not controlled by us. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
8. Data Security
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, password hashing, and infrastructure monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Data Retention
We retain account data for as long as your account remains active and as needed to provide the Service. Temporary tool processing artifacts are retained only as long as operationally necessary (often short-lived) and then deleted or overwritten. Contact form submissions are retained so we can respond to your inquiry and for security, spam prevention, and record-keeping, then deleted when no longer needed. We may retain certain records longer when required for legal, security, or auditing purposes—including Terms and privacy acceptance timestamps.
10. User Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access a copy of personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of account data (subject to legal exceptions)
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Data portability, where applicable
- Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based
To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
11. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12. International Users
AdvanzoTools may be operated from facilities in multiple regions. If you access the Service from outside the hosting region, your information may be transferred across borders. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Material changes may be highlighted via the Service or email when appropriate. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy, except where local law requires otherwise.
