PDF conversion tools

AdvanzoTools offers 17 dedicated converters for moving content between PDF and the formats teams use every day — Excel, Word, PowerPoint, images, CSV, HTML, Markdown, and plain text. Each tool opens in its own workspace with validation, processing feedback, and a signed download when conversion completes.

How to convert a PDF

  1. Open the converter you need — for example PDF to Excel for tables or PDF to Word for editable documents.
  2. Upload your PDF. Table tools include an analyze step so you can preview detected grids before exporting.
  3. Adjust options such as page range, sheet names, or image quality when the tool supports them.
  4. Download the converted file through the signed link. Temporary files are removed automatically after the retention period.

Which PDF formats can I convert?

From PDF you can export to Excel (XLSX), Word (DOCX), PowerPoint (PPTX), JPG/PNG images, CSV, HTML, and plain text. Into PDF you can convert Excel, Word, PowerPoint, HTML, CSV, Markdown, and image files (JPG, PNG, WebP). Office rendering uses LibreOffice when installed; table export uses a dedicated detection pipeline with optional OCR for scans.

Are uploaded files private?

Files are stored in private temporary storage, not in a public folder. Processing happens on the server for your session, and uploads plus outputs are purged on a schedule (default one hour). Download URLs are signed and expire — they are not permanent public links.

Can I convert scanned PDFs?

PDF to Excel and PDF to CSV can attempt OCR when a document appears image-based and Tesseract is available on the server. Text extraction can also use OCR in that case. OCR improves usability but does not guarantee perfect cell or character accuracy — preview results before relying on them.

Can I convert Excel to PDF?

Yes. Excel to PDF renders XLSX (and XLS where supported) through LibreOffice headless when it is installed. You can choose sheets, paper size, orientation, margins, and scaling options before downloading the PDF.

Need the reverse? Try PDF to Excel or PDF to CSV for table data.

Can I convert PDF tables to Excel?

PDF to Excel inspects your file, detects tables, scores extraction quality, and lets you preview rows before generating a real .xlsx workbook. If no tables are found, the tool explains why instead of producing an empty spreadsheet.

PDF to Excel, CSV, and Text can use OCR when the server has Tesseract installed and the document appears image-based. OCR is best-effort — always preview extracted tables or text before relying on them.

No tool can guarantee a perfect replica of every PDF or Office layout. Results depend on fonts, scans, and document complexity. Preview important conversions before sharing them.
